Silver Champs Headlines! Day Three - Spurio Improves times, places well! Joey Spurio swam the 100 Breast, 200 Fly and the 50 Free on day three of competition at Silver Champs. Spurio dropped time in all 3 events and set 3 new HSC team records. Congratulations Joey! Day Two - Tomko and Spurio Lead HSC John Tomko and Joey Spurio led the HSC turtles Saturday dropping time in all of their events. Tomko continued his winning streak taking first in the 100 Fly, 100 Back and the 200 IM. Tomko earned "A" times in all of his events and set 3 new HSC team records. Spurio improved his times in the 100 Back, 200 Breast and the 500 Free. Spurio earned an additional "A" time in his 100 Back. Day One -Tomko Takes First At Silver Champs! John Tomko, placed first in the 15 and over division and the overall in the 1650 Freestyle on Friday 3/5/10 at the Lake Erie Silver Championship. Tomko, dropped an entire minute off his seed time, clocking in at 17:52.80, which is good enough to exceed the AA National Standard cut in his age division and sets a new HSC team record. Congrats!
